From reselling used equipment to manufacturing new.
Pro Gym Equipment operated for ten years as a used commercial gym equipment dealer. We bought stock from gyms closing across Europe — Germany, Netherlands, UK, Poland, Czechia, Romania — inspected it, refurbished what needed refurbishing, and shipped it worldwide. Brands we handled: Technogym, Life Fitness, Precor, Panatta, Matrix, gym80.
That business taught us the supply chain from the inside — which manufacturers build equipment that lasts ten years and which build equipment that lasts two, what breaks first, what is impossible to source spares for, and what gym owners actually call about at 7am on a Monday.
The decision to manufacture was not aspirational. It was practical. We had the technical knowledge from a decade of stripping, inspecting and rebuilding machines. We had the supplier relationships. We had the customer base asking us for new equipment with the service they were used to.
The equipment is new. The warranty is ours. The parts are in stock in the EU. What has not changed: you still deal with the same person, you still get the same direct phone number, and the answer is still within one working day.

My name is Vasyl Ilkiv. I own HARTIS Strength and I am the person you deal with — from the first quote to the last bolt tightened on site.
Before this brand existed, I spent ten years supplying commercial gyms across Europe with used equipment under Pro Gym Equipment. We sourced from 30+ suppliers, inspected every piece, shipped it and stood behind it. Over that decade we moved 300+ complete equipment sets to gyms, hotels, fitness centres and military bases across Germany, Netherlands, UK, Poland, Czechia and Romania.
Used equipment at 40–70% below new sounds attractive until you live with the reality: partial orders because the machine you quoted has already been sold to someone else. No warranty because the original manufacturer does not know you exist. No one to call when a cable snaps or a bearing seizes in year two.
HARTIS exists to fix those three problems. We moved from reselling to manufacturing because we know exactly what goes wrong — and what gym owners actually need from a supplier: complete orders, documented warranty by component, and a phone number that someone answers.
