1 MACHINEWhy cable and selectorised on a commercial floor.
A selectorised machine lets a member change load in two seconds — pull the pin, move it, train. No plate hunting, no re-racking. In a busy gym where machines turn over every 20 minutes, that speed keeps members moving and reduces the congestion that drives cancellations.
Guided movement paths also lower the instruction burden. A new member can use a selectorised chest press on day one without a spotter. That matters when your staff-to-member ratio is 1:80 and you cannot have a trainer standing beside every bench. The machine does the coaching — seat adjustment, range limiter, placard with muscle diagram — so the member gets a productive session without supervision.
Cable stations expand the exercise library per square metre. A single functional trainer occupies about 1.2 m² of floor and delivers 40+ exercises — from cable flies to pallof presses to face pulls. Compare that to the four or five exercises you get from a single-purpose plate-loaded machine occupying the same footprint.
Most commercial floors run selectorised alongside plate-loaded equipment. The plate-loaded line handles the heavy compound work — serious lifters loading a leg press to 400 kg. The selectorised line handles volume, variety, and accessibility. We manufacture both lines, and the quote covers the mix.
What the frame
is made of
Every number here is a manufacturing specification, not a marketing claim. Ask for the data sheet on any model and you get it — dimensions, materials, load ratings, bearing references — before you pay anything.
Built for these floors
Selectorised machines fill out the floor between the free-weight zone and the cardio area. Fast seat changes keep peak-hour flow moving.
Guided movement and low supervision requirements suit unstaffed or lightly staffed facilities where members train without instruction.
Adjustable range limiters and fine weight increments make selectorised machines practical for controlled progressive loading in clinical settings.
High member throughput demands equipment that handles hundreds of seat changes a day without wear. Pin-selected stacks are built for exactly that duty cycle.

Three lines, one floor
Each line addresses a different training need. Frame finish and upholstery colour-match across all lines — your floor looks unified regardless of the mix.
BF series (25 models). Single-station selectorised machines with weight stacks up to 96 kg — chest press, shoulder press, lat pulldown, seated row, leg press, leg curl, leg extension, pec fly, abdominal, back extension, and dual-function combos. The standard choice for most commercial gym floors.
HS series (27 models). Heavier frames with stacks up to 138 kg and iso-lateral variants for unilateral training — chest press, fixed pulldown, lat pulldown, rowing machine, leg press, leg extension, leg curl, abductor, adductor, multi hip, and dual-function combos. Choose STACK where your members train heavier or demand unilateral movement.
FRAME (TB, 4 models), SPAN (TF, 2 models), SOLO (HF, 1), DRIVE (DZ, 2) and WALL (BG, 2). Adjustable crossovers, functional trainers, dual crossovers, wall-mounted trainers, and a standing multi-fly station. Cable stations from across the HARTIS range, unified by the same powder coat and weight stack quality.
